Desdemona: A Play About A Handkerchief

Oregon State University Theatre begins its 2015-2016 season, All the World's A Stage: Celebrating Shakespeare continues with our Winter term Lab Theatre production directed by OSU Theatre student, Sam Zinsli.

 

Shakespeare’s gripping tragedy of obsession and revenge is turned inside-out as Paula Vogel explores Othellofrom the point of view of Desdemona, Bianca, and Emilia. This witty and emotionally raw drama explores themes of sex, gender, power, and friendship in powerful and surprising ways.

 

Performances run February 4-6 at 7:30 pm and February 7 at 2:00 pm.
